The wedding of

John & Anna
June 19, 2027

Our story
We met on a Tuesday in November, in the queue at a bookshop café on Szewska Street, both waiting for the same badly-made coffee. John was carrying a novel he had already read twice; Anna said so out loud, which is how the conversation started and, frankly, how most of them have started since. Six years, two apartments and one very opinionated cat later, we are getting married a fifteen-minute walk from that queue. We would love you there — for the ceremony at the registry office, and then for a long evening in the gardens at Villa Decius. Come hungry. There will be too much food, several speeches, and dancing until the neighbours complain.

Gifts
In person, on the day
The simplest way to give is in person — an envelope handed to us at the reception. Nothing else is expected.
Towards the honeymoon
The thing we want most is time away together, so if you would rather give towards that than pick something from the list, it would mean a great deal. Please do not feel you have to give anything at all — having you at the wedding is the gift.
Thermomix
Anna has wanted one since a friend's dinner party in 2023 and has mentioned it, by our count, forty times.
€500.00Living-room armchair
For the corner by the window that has held a cardboard box since we moved in.
€350.00Samsung gaming monitor
John's, entirely and unapologetically.
€400.00A trip to Bali
The big one — and the one we would never buy ourselves. Chip in any amount; several of you together would get us there.
€1,800.00
Will we see you there?
Will you join us?
A note for the couple (optional)
On a real wedding site this is where your guests reply, choose a meal and leave you a note.
